  • I found a book on digital photography (The Digital Photography Book by Scott Kelby), and wondered if I could adapt some of the info in it to be used with film photography.

I know the info on W/B, RAW, JPEG, and memory cards won't be of much use with film, but what about info on setting up shots, lenses, and such?

I figure it all pretty much is covered by the same umbrella of photography, with the exception of the media used for image capture.

Thanks for any replies I get,
    Ed

  • The only thing that wont be relevant will be information unique to the digital format. Other than that photography "rules" are photography "rules". Shouldn't be a problem (just make sure you understand what they mean about lens concersion focal length).

  • Yeah, a great deal of what he says will work with film cams.
