  • I'm looking for a part-time job in the National Guard, Army, Coast Guard, Navy, Marines or Air National Guard in a civilian capacity. In other words, I don't want to enlist, I just want to work for them in some way. Most civilian jobs I've found require either fulltime or military service. Anyone have ideas?

  • Go to USA jobs and search for jobs,
you can find student positions, that are part-time.

I worked on an Air Force Reserve base as a clerk running a tool room for the shop that repaired engines on the planes. The thing is that you are a low G rating and that you have to be a full-time student.
During the summer I was allowed to work more when I wasn't in class but not all the positions allow that.

There aren't a lot of student jobs out there and they are hard to come by.

  • Try going to your local military recruitment center and ask them, you dont have to recruit to get info.

  • To my knowledge, there are no part-time jobs in the National Guard, Army, Coast Guard, Navy, Marine, or Air National Guard without some type of commitment.

Perhaps you could deliver donuts and coffee to those who are really committed.

  • This is a United States Office of Personnel Management website. USAJOBS is the Federal Government's
official one-stop source for Federal jobs and employment information.
