  • Ok, so my transmission pan has a hole in it. I've been putting fluid in it every few days for about 9 months now. A mechanic welded the pan, but of course, it started leaking again. The problem is, I cannot find a transmission pan at any junk yards in my area. So I called a tow company and they said they have one. I was told that there are 2 different bolt patterns for this type of car. Is that right or wrong?

-Also, my car jerks hard from 1st to 2nd gear and it takes a few seconds to change to from reverse or from drive. Am I ruining my transmission? If i get the pan replaced and fill the fluid back up, will that help?

  • go to your GM dealer they can get a pan and gasket ,get it done as soon as possible so you don;t toast your trans
