  • Whenever I enabled xcache 1.2.1, I always get this message after a quick reply:

"The following errors occurred when this message was submitted"

It doesnt even show the error msg except an Okay link, but I assume that the error msg might be "Unable to add cookies - headers already sent". The message won't show up until i hit refresh.

I'm also using this hack at vb.org that has to deal with xcache
    http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=141005&highlight=xcache
    Do i even need this?

Can anyone help me on this? Thanks!

That hack is not required, although it can boost performance. If the problem occurred after you installed that hack then try disabling it by commenting out the datastore line in your config.php.

  • Did you recently update vB and/or PHP ? everytime you update PHP you need to recompile xcache.

Also disable all plugins/hacks and re-enable one at a time until you find if any plugins/hacks are incompatible with xcache.

For cookies already sent, if you edited any php files make sure you don't have white space /blank line breaks at top or bottom of your php files
